I had to have Tasha direct me here…so not cool, am I? How are you two doing? Thanks for the blog about Carl-I saw a picture of him with Kelly D. at her wedding shower and I got sad-and you are right. We are the lucky ones who knew him. Hugs to you and Lisa.

Hi Alan, I just wanted to let you know I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award!
Hahahaha wow! OK. I’m not 100% sure what that means, but I definitely appreciate it!
Sorry, I’m new this whole giving out awards thing. Go here (http://wetrat.wordpress.com/2012/03/16/holy-crap-i-got-a-major-award/) to find out the rules of the award and then you can pass it on or not. 🙂
That’s incredibly cool. Thank you! Now I have to make myself sound interesting. Ooof.
Whelp… today sucks. Hope you’re doing okay.
We’re hanging in there. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to interact much lately.
Alan, Just want you to know you are pretty cool, without awards, just because you LOVE my cousin! AMAZING!!

Your late wife Julienne Gede Edwards’ name popped up on my Google search while searching for a publication of my own, as my name is Julienne Gage. Julienne is such a rare form of the Julie names, I often find myself searching to see who shares it with me. I saw your beautiful wedding photos, read the story about the aqua blue dress that bore the stomacher she wanted, and watched her video defending healthcare. What an incredible young woman she was, so beautiful and strong and eloquent in the midst of her battle with cancer. It’s very sad to read your reflections but they are also an inspiring tribute to the love and dedication you had for each other. An impressive partnership indeed. I’m sorry for your loss and I hope that you continue to move forward with her memory and your wonderful writing.
That is so incredibly kind of you to say. It’s been a hard road, but we continue forward. Thank you so much for your kindness, Julienne. I wish you the best (with love and finger guns)
Hi Alan! Its sad that that happened. Wish ur well
